During the 10th - 13th of October weekend in Thourotte(France), a big protest againts the Mega-Canale Seine-Nord that took part around 2000 people happened. The project pretends to build another big water canal that will connect Rotterdam's harbour with Seine River destroying around 3300ha of farming fields and lots of towns landscapes.
In the middle of the protest, activists spontaneusly changed their way and jump into the current built canal and cross by swimming to the building area.
